Welcome to Morgridge Hall, the new home of UW-Madison Computer Sciences! Our room reservation system has changed – see below. If you have any questions, please contact commons@cdis.wisc.edu.
Faculty, staff, and students:
- The KB (knowledge base) with instructions is here: https://kb.wisc.edu/morgridgehall/internal/154035
- The website for room reservations is ems.wisc.edu
- When you log in and click “make a reservation” you will have several options. Everyone who is a building resident should see:
-
- Reserve a 3-7 huddle or meeting room – self service anyone can do it!
- Request a Commons Classroom or Space – this one is not showing up, but will soon.
- Request (their department) Space – may be a “request” or for CS it is a reservation self service.
- Reserve the User Experience Studio – will be a request.
- Certain rooms are limited to certain users. These are GA classrooms run by campus with more permissions needed. Your normal booking person in your building can help you book these spaces using the 25 live system as you have done before.
- Follow the instructions in EMS.
- Note: You will be asked for a “group” which does not populate automatically. You need to search for “ischool” or “computer science” or “no group”. * Once you do this, you will not have to worry about it again!
The seminar room (7th floor) is managed by morgidgehallevents@cdis.wisc.edu
The “commons level” rooms on floor 2 are open for requests which you can enter in EMS or email the commons at commons@cdis.wisc.edu
