
ACM, the Association for Computing Machinery, is pleased to announce a new journal, ACM Transactions on AI Security and Privacy (TAISAP), with UW-Madison Computer Sciences professor Patrick McDaniel as an editor-in-chief. As AI technologies have become pervasive, research on keeping these systems secure presents a critical need in both industry and society. Similarly, research on how AI can help facilitate improved cybersecurity capabilities is critical. In keeping with ACM’s goal of making all its publications open access by January 2026, all TAISAP papers will be published open access with no publication charges for the first three years (2026-2029).
