Jump Trading internships

Jump Trading's technology internship program is an intensive 10-week experience within our core development team that uses Agile methodologies to design, code, test, and maintain our high-performance, distributed trading infrastructure and one of the largest supercomputers in the world.

 These internships are also the primary way we identify top young talent for our core development team, and it’s a proven path for earning full-time opportunities at Jump. We’ve had several UW students join Jump Trading through this program over the past few years.

Software Developer Intern (Summer 2016)

As a software development intern at Epic, you'll take ownership of a meaningful and challenging project that will help shape the future of healthcare. You'll be mentored by brilliant colleagues, collaborate with fellow interns, and accomplish something that you can be proud of. We'll make sure you have the knowledge you need to succeed, but you'll hit the ground running and own your project in its entirety - from gaining an understanding of your users' needs to handling design, development, testing and documentation.

Nonprofit Technology Support Internship (paid internship)

Disability Rights Wisconsin is seeking an intern to support staff with technology use and further developing the agency website and social media with the mentorship of DRW’s IT Specialist.

This position is flexible in schedule between the hours of 8am-5pm (some evening remote hours are possible), 12-20 hours per week based on need. This position pays $10 – 15 per hour, depending on experience.

Software Engineer Internship

SmartUQ is dedicated to developing cutting-edge analytics technologies that are pushing the boundaries of analytics technologies for simulation and testing. Led by experts in the field, we are a revenue generating start-up with great customer satisfaction. We are currently accepting applications for software engineering interns for both fall 2015 and spring 2016, who will work with our software engineering team to contribute to the development cycle of our products. Outstanding intern performance may also lead to opportunities for a permanent software engineering position.

Computer Science Intern, LEAD Lab

The Lab of Endocrinology, Aging and Disease (LEAD) is looking for a Computer Science Intern (an undergraduate CS major) who can create and design a website that will promote and present our research and findings. Theproject has independent and flexible hours; however, you must be available late summer and fall semester. If the student is a good fit in the Lab, he or she will be given other computer-science-based duties to build upon their internship. The student must know how to create and develop a website and work independently, yet also in a team setting.
