Assignments can include working on assisting in the identification and analysis of business requirements and transforming them into data models. Perform design activities and maintain documentation while building technical expertise in data warehousing, data mining, data modeling, methodologies, techniques and tools.

Assignments can include working on projects at all stages of the development lifecycle, from reviewing business requirements, to design, to construction and test, to deployment. Software projects range from developing front and back-end solutions, as well as building customer facing mobile and web applications.

Student Java Programmer Internship

The UW-Madison Office of Student Financial Aid is looking for a Student Java Programmer to work on the campus scholarship system, Scholarships@UW-Madison. Initial work will be bug fixes and minor enhancements to become familiar with the system before moving into large-scale development and maintenance. The development work is primarily Java and SQL. The candidate must have worked in an integrated development environment as well as be proficient with Java and databases.
