Professor Sankaralingam wins L&S Distinguished Faculty Award

Professor Karu Sankaralingam has been awarded the 2013 Philip R. Certain--Gary Sandefur Letters & Science Distinguished Faculty award. This annual award honors and recognizes outstanding teaching by a faculty member of the College of Letters & Science. Honorees are nominated by the academic associate deans in the College and selected by the dean. As the award citation noted, "Karu has proven himself to be an educational innovator. He is absolutely fearless, whether it is challenging the orthodoxy in computer architecture or taking a radical new approach in teaching a popular, well-established undergraduate course."
