Qualifications and requirements (including undergrad or grad degree completed or in progress):
The ideal candidate would be an undergraduate studying anything in computer science with an interest in the building surveys and creating tasks to be used in psychological studies. Opportunities to earn credit are available. Experience with programming encouraged.
Job description (including full or part time; internship, temporary, or permanent position):
We are hoping to have a student join use during the academic year on a semester-by-semester basis. Hours worked can be flexible but we are hoping to find someone that can commit to 5-10 hours per week. The student could expect to help with building in REDCap, Presentation, SPSS, excel, word press and other general IT help.
The WMHP is a collaborative work environment under the direction of Dr. Stowe and other affiliated investigators in the fields of mathematics, clinical psychology, and psychiatry here at UW-Madison and other university collaborators. Through this approach, the WMHP is dedicated to cutting-edge research to further the understanding of the maternal biological and genetic influence of trauma and psychopathology on the development of a fetus and child.
