Seeking a part-time contract programmer for development, testing and implementation of new features and fixes of existing bugs for Digital Mappa (digitalmappa.org), a DH platform for linked and annotative data for cohorts of digital images and texts. Location: Madison, WI (remote work permitted)
Rate: $50-80/hr depending on degrees completed and experience
Hours: initial contract of 120 hours, 20hr/wk for 6 weeks; subsequent contract of additional 240-360 hours, 20hr/wk for 12-16 weeks upon successful and satisfactory completion of first contract.
Timeframe: July- December 2020
• Completed BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; upper-level undergraduates with appropriate proficiencies may be considered.
• Experience/interest in Digital Humanities software development
• Experience with IIIF and Web Annotation standards
