Linux Orientation Sessions

New Linux users and novice Linux users new to the CSL Linux facilities are encouraged to attend an orientation session as early in the semester as possible. Students only need to attend one orientation session. Each session consists of a short video presentation followed by a hands-on session in the user rooms. This takes about an hour and 15 minutes.

The orientation sessions are in room 1325 Computer Sciences.

An online version of the video presentation and the hands-on handout can be found at this address: http://www.cs.wisc.edu/csl/linux-orientation
