Setting up "COMPSCI-1X in Windows XP
The first step is to install
SecureW2
. Follow the instructions in the installer, your computer will probably have to be rebooted for the changes to take effect.
After SecureW2 is installed, open the Wireless Networks Manager.
Start Menu--Control Panel--Network Connections--Wireless Network Connection--View Wireless Networks--Change advanced settings (left panel)--Wireless Networks tab
Click Add, and fill in the following information:
Network name: COMPSCI-1X
Network Authentication: WPA
Data Encryption: AES
Click the Authentication Tab
For EAP Type, choose "!SecureW2 EAP-TTLS"
Click Properties
Click Configure
Under the Connection tab, uncheck "Use alternate outer identity"
Under the Certificates tab, uncheck "Verify server certificate"
Click OK on all the menus.
Connect to the COMPSCI-1X network
It should pop up a SecureW2 box asking for your credentials
Type in your CS username and password and leave the domain blank and then hit Ok
You should now be connected to COMPSCI-1X
