Setting up "COMPSCI-1X in Mac OS X

  • Open System Preferences-->Network-->Airport-->Advanced-->802.1X tab
  • Click the plus sign and "Add User Profile"
  • Name it "WPA: COMPSCI-1X" and add the following details:
    • Your CS username and password (optional)
    • Wireless Network: COMPSCI-1X
    • Authentication: Make sure TTLS is checked and then click Configure and choose PAP
  • Click the Airport Tab
  • Click the Plus sign and fill in the following details:
    • Network name: COMPSCI-1X
    • Security: WPA2 Enterprise
    • Your CS username and password (optional)
    • 802.1X: WPA: COMPSCI-1X
  • Click Add
  • Click Ok and Apply
  • Connect to the COMPSCI-1X network
  • If you didn't enter a username and password, it will pop up a box asking for it, fill it in and click ok
  • It will then pop up a certificate box, click continue
  • You should now be connected to COMPSCI-1X
