Visiting Professor for CIS

The Computing & Information Sciences (CIS) Department in the School of Arts & Sciences at Edgewood College invites applications for Visiting Professor Position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor for the spring semester or 2016. This position is a one semester position which may be extended for another academic year. The successful candidate will be given chance to apply and first consideration for the tenure-track position in CIS department which is intended to be filled in the Fall of 2016.

Mobile App Developer

WSUM, UW Madison’s student-run radio station, is looking for a developer to create an app for our organization. We are looking for a motivated candidate to work on the app this fall semester (2015) so we can launch it by spring. Find more detailed on the attached posting.

Teacher for Accelerated Learning Program (pre-college program for grades 9-12)

Teach a Computer Science class at the Accelerated Learning Program (Precollege Program, Grades 9-12, UW Madison). Program Dates: June 28-July 11, 2015.

Short Class Description: In this class, students focus on AI behaviors from the standpoint of computation. A specific emphasis will be on the logic, mathematics, and computer programming principles behind AI. While analyzing the practical side of AI, students will also be engaged in discussions surrounding the impacts of AI on society.
