Course Enrollment
For research credits, take 990. Also, you're required to take 3 credits over during each semester; this includes the summer (instead of the 2 you'd take as a pre-dissertator).
Deadlines, Defending, and Depositing
The graduate school has a great reference called Deadlines, Defending, and Depositing Your Ph. D. Dissertation which leads you through the five steps of wrapping things up. This includes details on what paper to use, the $90 it will cost to deposit your thesis for archival, and who to call with questions.
To deposit your dissertation, one of the forms that must be signed by your committee requires you to type the title of your dissertation, the date, and a few other things. There is no typewriter in CS, but the graduate school in Bascom Hall has a typewriter. Go to room 217 for instructions.
