The major DB conferences and general paper deadlines are:

• SIGMOD (SIG Management of Data) - mid-Nov to early Dec

• PODS (Principles of Database Systems) - normally co-time and co-located with SIGMOD

• VLDB (Very Large Databases) - Feb or March

• ICDE (Int'l Conference on Data Engineering) - July
• CIDR (Conference on Innovative Data Systems Research) - July
• KDD (Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining)
