CSAs - Community Supported Agriculture

The Madison area has many farms participating in community supported agriculture. CSAs are a partnership between households and farms in our area to share the responsibility of producing/delivering fresh food and is a great way to get local produce and help out the community. Programs vary, but most entail users paying an annual fee to farms and in return receiving regular boxes of fresh foods dependent on the season and the farm. Members usually pick up the food from drop-off locations in the city.
