Temporary Housing in Madison

Friendly, fellow CS graduate students who live in Madison have offered to provide you with temporary accomodations in their apartments while you look for housing. Temporary accommodation with a CS graduate student can be arranged if you let us know in advance, so if you would like to take up their offer, please send an email to sacm-transition@cs.wisc.edu with the subject: "temporary housing." Please include information on your dates and times of arrival and departure (if applicable) and we will get back to you with the appropriate contact information (if there is availability).

However, if you need temporary housing for more than a few days, we suggest that you look at the options available at the Short Course Dorms (Phone: 608-262-2270) and Madison Hostels (Phone: 608-441-0144).
