Professor Guri Sohi has been awarded the Eckert Mauchly Award from the IEEE Computer Society and the Association for Computing Machinery for his pioneering work on micro-architectural techniques in the design of high-performance microprocessors. This is the most prestigious award offered by the computer architecture community.
