HCI researchers commended

Several members of UW's Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory, led by Prof. Bilge Mutlu, will receive commendations for papers at an April 2015 conference in Seoul, Korea.  Mutlu and Ph.D. candidate Allison Sauppé will receive a Best Paper Award for "The Social Impact of a Robot Co-Worker in Industrial Settings."

Mutlu, Sean Andrist and Adriana Tapus will receive an Honorable Mention for "Look Like Me: Matching Robot Personality via Gaze to Increase Motivation."

The CHI (Human Factors in Computing) conference will be held April 18-23, 2015, in the South Korean capital.
