Prof. Cai elected to Academia Europaea

Prof. Jin-Yi Cai, an expert in theoretical computer science, has been elected as a foreign member of Academia Europaea. He joins Prof. Tom Reps, who was elected to the academy in 2013. We congratulate Prof. Cai on this prestigious honor!

A statement from the academy reads:

"At their meeting on 4 September 2017, The Council of the Academia Europaea confirmed the election of 225 new members to the four Classes of humanities; social and related sciences; exact sciences and life sciences.

Following an extensive peer evaluation process, a number of eminent international scholars from across the continent of Europe were invited to accept membership in 2017.
