On Wednesday, April 29th we'll talk about our SIGGRAPH paper for this year (on video stabilization using 3D tracking and content dependent warping), and one of the underlying technologies: As-Rigid-As-Possible shape manipulation.

Since our paper isn't ready yet, the reading is on the shape manipulation work. This is a cool paper which presents a neat method and a fun system. But it also hints at a general approach of treating surface deformation as an optimization problem over a grid.
