CS559 - 2008 Assignments

Generally, there is something due every Tuesday. Hopefully, this makes things simple.

1.  Week 1 (tuesday 9/2)

Nothing due - it's the first day of class!

2.  Week 2 (tuesday 9/9) Surveys!

The goal of this assignment is just to make sure that everyone (including the Professor) can figure out Learn@UW.

You need to log onto Learn@UW and do 3 things:

1. View a document stored as a PDF file
2. Take a "survey" that shows that you saw that PDF file
3. Take a real survey that will help us in planning for this class

OK, the only one that you really need to do is number 3. But it would be good to check to make sure you can see PDF documents in "content" since we will be distributing some things that way.

Doing the entry survey on Learn@UW is a course requirement - we will count it as an assignment for the class.

Also: for this, you need to have Blayne take your picture for our pictures page. (Don't worry - its only for the course staff to look at)

9.  Week 9 (tuesday 10/28) Exam

Nothing to turn in - except for the exam.
