TurningThingsInHow to turn things inWritten AssignmentsWritten assignments are due at the beginning of class on Tuesday morning. We will collect them during class (usually, at the beginning of class). Otherwise, turn the assignment in by giving it to the TA. They will note the time that you turn it in. Programming Assignments, Projects, and other On-Line ThingsEvery student will have a directory /p/course/cs559-gleicher/handin/login that will be created the first week of class. If you do not have a directory (after September 5th), please tell the TA ASAP. In your handing directory, there will be sub directories for each programming assignment or project. Turn in only the files you are requested to. In particular, please do not turn in large files (like linker objects, or executables). We will determine the time that you turn in your files based on their timestamp. We may not lock the directories after the due date (or even after they are graded). If you touch a file, it will change the date, and that will be the timestamp we look at. Also, do not delete a file after grading - we often go back and look at them. |
