The Galileo group is part of the computer architecture group in the computer sciences department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

The group is led by Prof. James Goodman.

The focus of the group has been on the medium- to long-term evolution of processor and system architectures.  Recent work has included memory system design issues and cache-coherent shared-memory multiprocessor design.
