Faculty Position
The Computer Sciences Department at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison has an opening for a tenure-track Assistant
Professor in any area of Computer Sciences, or a tenured Associate or
Full Professor in the specific field of programming languages/software
engineering/verification. In addition to programming
languages/software engineering/verification, we are especially
interested in candidates in HCI, theory, natural-language processing,
and robotics, but our search is not limited to these areas.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely
related field, and demonstrated strength in scholarly research.
Successful candidates will be expected to teach at the undergraduate
and graduate level, in addition to establishing a significant and
highly visible research program.
