Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Professor Position

The Department of Computer Science seeks to fill a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in Cyber Security and Big Data starting Fall 2018. NDSU offers degrees at all levels in Computer Science and Software Engineering. Research and teaching excellence is expected. Normal teaching loads are three courses per year. Salary is competitive.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Computer Science or Software Engineering with focus on Cybersecurity, Big Data, Data Mining or a closely related topic. Experience or other evidence of potential for excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching, research and service. Effective oral and written communication skills are necessary. 

Qualifications preferred but not required: Experience or other evidence of potential to conduct research in ecosystems, sustainability or health applied to rural populations is desirable.
