EDBT Summer School 2009: Opportunity

The EDBT summer school brings together leading researchers of the database community and provides participants the opportunity to gain deep insight into current research trends in the database area.

This year the summer school will focus on Data and Resource Management in Ambient Computing and will cover the following topics :
- Semantic-oriented data spaces
- Event and data stream processing
- Privacy-aware data management and information security
- Middleware for ambient computing.

Given the high quality of the content of the program, the organization committee exceptionally opens some places for those junior and senior researchers willing to attend the school. 

Registrations without selection on a first-in first-served basis will be open only few days until the 15th july.
