The Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory offered three sessions of a major in Social Robotics at the 2011 Grandparents University. Professor Bilge Mutlu and CS graduate student Allison Terrell co-taught the major. Students agend 8-14 learned about basic concepts in computer science and robotics and gained hands-on experience in implementing "social behaviors" on robots. Congratulations to this year's graduates and the HCI Lab invites all alumni to participate in Grandparents University in 2012.
