Mythic’s platform delivers the power of desktop GPU in a single low-power chip, supporting inference for large deep neural networks. Mythic's technology is based upon an entirely new hybrid digital/analog flash calculation using 8-bit non-volatile memory arrays which has been under development since 2012. This step change in performance brings in a range of new applications in a broad array of verticals, including safety and security, autonomous vehicles, VR/AR, robotics, and media.

Mythic is seeking an intern for the Analog team and the NVM team. This position is ideal for a Master’s or undergrad candidate with an interest in analog semiconductor and memory design. For this intern position, the candidate can join us at either our Redwood City, California office or at Austin, TX office. The intern will have the opportunity to be exposed to the best-in-class NVM design and technology for AI applications. As an intern on the Analog/NVM team, you will work with the hardware engineering team on various analog and memory design blocks, helping to provide analysis of various architectural trade-offs to ensure performance. You will participate in design reviews and be involved in the internal design methodology and documentations processes. You will supervise block-related layouts and drive the use of behavioral models for related design blocks. You won’t be given a toy project. You’ll get to do real work that makes a difference to Mythic’s bottom line.

Requirements: • Must be enrolled in a 4 year accredited college/university • Degree must be in an Electrical Engineering discipline, with a GPA > 3.0 • Good oral and written communication skills • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others, and strong time management ability • Good organizational, planning and follow-up skills • Good analytical skills • Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite

Bonus skills: • MSEE • Interested in a career at Mythic • Experience with EE lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, power supplies, multi-meters, power analyzers, etc...) • Experience with programming language such python, C++, or other object-oriented languages
