Getting Started with the UW Condor Flock
1. Check Condor View
to see if you have access to a machine platform we have. Currently we have
a large amount of Intel/Linux, Solaris/Intel, and Solaris/Sparc so those are good choices.
If you have one of these machines, and there are enough machines in the
Condor pool, go to the
directions on how to setup a Submit-only machine.
2. If you do not have access to one of the machines in the pool,
please email condor-admin@cs.wisc.edu,
and we will set you up with an account on one of our machines. By
default you are given approx. 50 meg of disk space, and if that is
an issue, please notify of this as well.
