This was an all-day seminar presented by Alain Roy and Carey Kireyev to the local ACM chapter in Boulder Colorado. The goal was to introduce participants to grid computing, with an emphasis on Condor and Globus. We concluded with an optional hands-on tutorial in which every participant that had a laptop installed Condor and joined an ad-hoc Condor pool. We then demonstrated how to use Condor on this ad-hoc pool.
